Daysi AI and GEAAP partnership announcement

Glasgow, UK, September 2026: Glasgow East Alcohol Awareness Project (GEAAP) has joined Daysi's Answers for Good programme, introducing an AI-powered website assistant to help people find information about its services and support.

GEAAP has supported communities in the East of Glasgow since 1991, working to reduce the harm associated with alcohol misuse. The charity provides free, confidential services for people concerned about their own or someone else's alcohol use, ranging from one-to-one counselling and peer mentoring to groupwork and prevention and education programmes.

Through Answers for Good, GEAAP will receive free access to Daysi's technology, giving people visiting its website another way to find the information they need.

The Daysi assistant uses GEAAP's existing website content and approved information to answer questions in real time. This could help someone understand the different services available, find relevant resources or work out how to contact the organisation for further support.

"People come to our website for lots of different reasons. Some may be looking for support for themselves, while others may be worried about a friend or family member, so making information as clear and accessible as possible is really important.

"Daysi gives people another way to find out about the support available to them and get answers to some of those initial questions in their own time.

"We're pleased to be part of Answers for Good and look forward to seeing how the technology can complement the support our team already provides."

    Sue McInnes, GEAAP Manager

GEAAP's website already provides information about alcohol, its services and ways to seek further advice. Its team can be contacted during weekday working hours, while some services, including peer mentoring, extend beyond those hours.

"Answers for Good was created because charities often have a huge amount of useful information to share, but limited time and resources to answer every question the moment it's asked.

"GEAAP is a great example. Someone visiting its website might simply want to understand what support exists before they feel ready to make contact. Giving them an easy way to ask that question and find the relevant information can make the website more useful at an important moment.

"The technology isn't there to replace the people providing support. It's there to make the information they've already created easier to access."

    Daniel Brookes, Founder of Daysi

Daysi launched Answers for Good to provide charities with free access to its AI website technology. The wider Daysi platform is designed to answer website visitors using an organisation's own content and take actions including capturing enquiries and directing visitors towards appropriate next steps.

For GEAAP, the introduction of the assistant will add another digital route for people to explore the organisation's services and information before deciding whether they want to contact the team directly.
